Job Description
About the Role
As a Community RN, you will deliver high-quality clinical care to clients in their homes, supporting them to maintain independence and quality of life. You’ll work predominantly in the Mt Barker region, with occasional travel to other Kalyra locations as required.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver clinical care including medication management, wound care, palliative care, and other complex needs
Complete clinical assessments and develop person‑centred support plans
Provide clinical guidance to Enrolled Nurses and credentialled care staff
Liaise with clients, families, carers, and health professionals
Provide training, coaching, and support to team members
Review and update clinical care requirements in line with best practice
Promote a safe, high‑quality service environment

Desired Skills and Experience
What You Need to Succeed
Qualifications & Registrations
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Senior First Aid Certificate
Current SA driver’s licence
Satisfactory police clearance
Skills & Experience
Experience in aged care and/or community care (highly desirable)
Strong clinical assessment and decision‑making skills
Confidence working autonomously across community settings
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to prioritise effectively and manage complex situations
Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
Understanding of aged care requirements, WHS, and compliance standard
