As Village Manager Belair you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the village, ensuring a safe, welcoming and well-managed community where residents can enjoy a high quality of life. You will oversee village operations, budgets, compliance requirements, resident relationships and service delivery, while maintaining high standards of support and community living. Success in the role requires strong organisational skills, a customer-focused approach, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a genuine commitment to listening to and supporting residents, ensuring their needs remain at the heart of all decisions and activities.

Key Responsibilities

As a valued member of our Kalyra Neighbourhood Living team in Belair, as Village Manager (Belair Village) you will:

• Manage day to day operations within the Village to provide the best possible services to residents.
• Grow resident engagement and enhance resident satisfaction.
• Manage the Village Office and any support staff and volunteers. Respond to phone enquiries, correspondence, visitors, and resident requests.
• Ensure the Village is conducted according to relevant legislation and best practice industry standards.
• Effectively manage village funds and ensure expenditure is within the village operating budgets.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with residents, their families, the community and service providers.
• Aid in resolving resident complaints or disputes.
• Communicate with residents to inform them on Village and management issues.
• Liaise with internal and external community services / groups.
• Attend and participate in Resident meetings and Committee meetings as required.
• Liaise with the maintenance and gardening staff on relevant work required in the Village and provide administrative support and follow up to resident’s maintenance requests.
• In close consultation with the Sales Consultant, support the sale and turnover of Village Units in a timely and efficient manner.
• Prepare monthly village management reports and participate in monthly operations meetings addressing village issues.
• Participate and support Retirement Village Accreditation.
• Complete administrative tasks, including records maintenance, accident/incident reporting, data entry, timesheets and employment forms, according to prescribed procedures, accreditation standards and deadlines and legislative requirements.
